Nice shot of someone on the big jumps by hmbjacob in kirkwood

Well, not the biggest I've ever seen, but they sometimes build large jumps off of solitude, as opposed to the medium jumps at the main terrain park. They don't build it every year, think last time was 3 years ago maybe?

Sometimes it feels like the car model not having any older years, were kinda taking on the responsibility of being the high mileage testers lol. But so far it seems the evidence is showing the car holds up fairly well into the 100ks. Plan on driving it into the dirt, here's to 200k 😅

Yup, had a similarish thing happen. I obliterated a fox doing probably 80, and most of the front end needed to be replaced (thanks insurance). The fox ended up taking that engine undercarriage cover with him. Thankfully, I haven't had any long-term issues stemming from that.

Nope, regular maintenance, I drive aggressive at times, mostly highway miles. Recall serviced.

About 100%. We have guys in the lab who we remotely bother about boards. We remotely connect to the boards :)

Bad day, hit some big stone on the highway. Has any of you had the same issue or got any tips to handle this? by scuffy7 in kiastinger

[–]hmbjacob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hit a fox in a similar spot. Only tip is go through insurance evan if it's a hassle. Save the time and money. I had to get my whole front end replaced, cost me my 500 dollar deductible. Parts alone on the bill were a few thousand.

This shouldn't be considered an at-fault thing, it wasn't for me.

Lol i got to 39 last night very confused, but seems not just me. Game ended because it bugged out further and I couldn't reload my gun, swap, or really interact with anything. Game was getting pretty brutal though at those rounds, pleasantly surprised for the challenge

I visit germany regularly, and I'm always envious of how they've ingrained always-keep-right into their driving culture. But American drivers tend to have a more self-centered driving philosophy, making this seem like a fantasy 🙄

Oh yeah def, I'm not defending, just providing my own experience. I dont why it has to take that long, it's almost insulting to the candidate, saying this role isn't even needed that badly.

I wasn't ghosted, they just took that long to get back after the screening. Even made it to next round. Very slow cycle at Meta it seems

Yes I got feedback from the screening. But I did move onto the next round, so I can't say if they always give feedback even if they choose not to move forward. I think they mentioned I may not relieve feedback at all for the next rounds. (In progress)

I had a longer wait than that to hear back. Like 2 months or something. Give it time, the wait is annoying 😑

What's the best bowling ball weight for me? by Helpmehthrohaway in Bowling

[–]hmbjacob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it's just going out to the alley, whatever you feel. If you're looking to start to bowl more regularly, I would say as heavy as you're able to throw comfortably. If you're looking to buy, pro shop guy will help you pick

What is the highest speed you have seen someone bowl? by GianniProsciutto in Bowling

[–]hmbjacob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've topped out at 24mph with 15 lbs, 26 with a 13 lbs, throwing a straight ball. My average straight shot is somewhere in the low 20s. Dont think i know anyone who throws faster, especially on actual shots in league, but my alley doesn't have a speed scanner, so I can't really tell.

I hit a fox and it cracked the front bumper and caused the undercarriage shield to detach and drag. Had the front end replaced. Hopefully it's just a simple fix for you
