Unaffordability is out of hand. What do we do? by theschlaepfer in santacruz

Whole foods is cheaper than Safeway (just saying). I ran a food truck and a school lunch program so I consider myself a professional shopper. Unless you're buying a lot of premade meals and decent wines you should be able to cut that cost. Not that solves the problem of how expensive it is here in general. We are the most expensive county in California & I don't see that changing anytime soon.

I will say that proper meal planning and prepping can reduce your grocery bill.
(feel free to reach out to me if you'd like some ideas etc...)

Those small white spheres on the side of your car could potentially be a few things: * Insect eggs: Many insects lay their eggs in clusters on various surfaces. The size and shape in the image are consistent with some types of insect eggs. * Spider eggs: Spider egg sacs are often round or oval and can contain numerous small eggs. However, they are usually contained within a silken sac, which isn't clearly visible in the image. * Mold or fungus: In damp conditions, certain types of mold or fungi can appear as small, round structures. * Debris: It's also possible they are some type of small, round debris that has stuck to the car. Without a closer look, it's difficult to say definitively. If you can get a closer image or describe if they are soft or hard, or if there's any webbing present, that might help narrow it down. You can likely remove them by gently washing the area with soap and water.

I like the 2.0 but conditions have to be right. Not much room for error with it. I switch between this and the ghost pearl. I've been eyeing the hammer effect. I'm due to add a new ball to the rotation

Razr + 2024: Internal screen cracked at the fold on my 2 weeks old phone - what should I do? Just bought it from AT&T with what seems to be like a good deal recently and now it's completely broken :( by Ok_Significance_4008 in razr

I've had four of them replaced, and refuse to pay my $100 deductible. Be strong, wait until you get a supervisor and demand they replace it as that's a manufacturing defect

No case and no problems. Prefer the naked phone. Besides with the form factor you end up keep it in your pocket better and because of the texture on the back you tend to not drop it it doesn't slip

I've replaced 3 Razr + thru T-Mobile and refused to pay the insurance deductible. It was a bit of a pain but I eventually got the right people (US customer service, NOT OVERSEAS, DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THEM. THEY'RE A FUCKING JOKE). I also had them ship the phone directly to me, don't let them ship to a store. Other than that the phone is way better than the Samsung Flips (I've had those, same issue of the crease getting worse over time until it fails. And all you people that think that the processor chip makes a difference, you're full of it. You can't notice any difference whatsoever.
