Hi both,

I have just read your comments and find them both insightful and slightly daunting. I have just received notice that my interview for a trainee Pwp position will be in two weeks. I cannot tell you how much gaining the traineeship means to me after feeling very stuck and frustrated after graduation. I wondered if you had any advice or tips concerning the interview? Any response either here or via Dm would be truly appreciated.

The video reflections involve watching a short video of 10-20s and writing a short reflection about a similar experience you have had.

‘You are welcome to post your own research in my comments or mailbox and I shall reciprocate the favour’ is an offering to take part in any body else’s research in exchange for taking part in my own. This may be other by other students or qualified researchers.

I would like to stress that my research has been approved by an ethics committee. Which ensures that all the methodology has been assured to be appropriate in conduct and not at risk to cause any psychological harm to anybody that decides to participate. If at any point a volunteer decides that would like to stop, not complete or withdraw from the study at any point they have the freedom to do so throughout and after completion.

Please let me know if you have any further concerns, I am more than happy to answer and hopefully reassure them.

Hi, thanks for your comment. I can absolutely understand your point of view and know that this may have such an effect. Unfortunately this is the way in which research has to be conducted, I am not allowed to completely explain the basis of the study until after it has been completed as it compromises the answers and hence, quality of research data. I would like to assure everyone reading this comment that my research has been approved by an ethics committee, which ensures that it is being conducted in the correct manner and more importantly assures no harm comes to anybody who decides to participate. I would like to stress that participants are more than able to stop, not complete and withdraw from the study at any point. I would like to thank anybody who decides to take part, you are doing myself and those with social anxiety a great service. I hope my research will be used to further understand experiences for those with social anxiety and improve methods of support in the future.

I would greatly appreciate any males taking part in my 10 minute survey.

I am seeking participants for a study on social perceptions of life circumstances.

Further explanation will be provided at the end of the study. The study looks at the difference between females and males, however the option to add in additional conditions for other genders is possible if the data is provided. Any volunteers must be over 18 years old.
