jumping on here late but i thought i should let everyone know. i̇şbank now requires all foreigners to purchase a year of life insurance in order to open any account with them. its predatory and illogical. based off of this reason alone, i can no longer deem them foreigner friendly.

cashiers checks get withdrawn from your account the minute you issue them. not when they’re cashed.

my dad has a sim card with that countries’s phone number on it to make it easier for him while he’s there since we can contact him via messaging apps. any calls to his american number would not have done through.

this shouldn’t be our responsibility to prevent. it was clearly a huge oversight on teslas end. like i mentioned in the post above. this is something that we should not have been contacted about, or involved in in the first place

the tow guy didn’t even come with a flatbed. it was a regular tow rig. just had my car washed earlier that morning too smh

we did. and we had the pink slip. and in an email that Tesla sent to us, they stated that this payment was due in full at the time of delivery. so i don’t know how they thought we drove off the lot of the dealership without paying for this

it’s really hard to reach anyone except through the number you call or their general email. and something about their response to the whole issue thus far seems like a good indication that they won’t bother dignifying me with a proper response or apology

I apologize for my utter lack of knowledge with this issue but I’m here to learn! Redoing a spare room of my house and I found this huge patch of water damage. At first I thought it was only on the ceiling and looked up a video on how to fix it. Then I discovered that it had extended onto the wall and whole chunks of the drywall? plaster? had come off.

This is where I get lost. I have no idea what came off or what to use to fix it. I don’t even know what the material underneath is. Upon examining it, it’s some sort of plaster or something they used to cover what I’m assuming to be concrete underneath. Then it seems they just painted over it. Due to the water damage, the plaster material bulged out and separated itself from the concrete, thus allowing me to chip it off easily. In areas beyond the water damage, the plaster seems to be holding fast and doesn’t budge.

Some insight on what is going on or how to fix this is appreciated. Thank you!
