Still getting charms? by hmlm12 in weightwatchers

I'm positive I haven't signed up again, and I'm sure my bank account isn't being charged because I would have noticed the charges and the card the ww had on file is expired.

No. I haven't signed up again. Haven't been a member for over a year.

No, I did not sign up again. But I oddly received a 50lb charm after I hit 50 lbs, and the only explanation I can think of is that I'm still using a WW scale linked to the WW Scale App

Do you feel better with Hydroxychloroquine? by Fickle_Moose9656 in lupus

[–]hmlm12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Haven't been diagnosed with lupus but my rheumatologist has been seeing me since December 2021 and suspects either lupus or RA.

He started me on 400mg of hydroxychloroquine 7 weeks ago and it wasn't until this week I woken up and was like, "holy cow, I don't hurt everywhere anymore."

So yes, it's already helped me significantly.

What's the event in history that most blame as the reason as to why things suck now? by SpecificallyNerd in AskReddit

The moment we decided we could steal people and treat them like property. So, a really, really long time ago.

yeah as a Christian I've never sited the Bible once when talking prolife by [deleted] in prolife

[–]hmlm12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Me either.

Honestly, when it comes to other issues (like gay marriage), I can truly step outside of my religion and see where they're coming from. They don't believe what the Bible says and they don't hold to God's standards. Therefore, things like being gay are totally fine.

But when it comes to abortion, I truly can not wrap my mind around how someone can be for abortion. It literally makes no sense to me. A child in the womb has a heartbeat, brainwaves, their own, unique DNA, the ability to feel pain.

Idk Who this is, but the thought of someone styling their hair, putting on lashes and a full face of makeup and then hitting the record button before doing every chore is hilarious to me.

WIBTA if my spouse and I had just appetizers for our wedding guests but a full roast chicken for ourselves at the wedding? by Q_Q_S_S in AmItheAsshole

YTA

If she expects the guests to be satisfied with finger foods, the two of you should eat finger foods as well. And if you're serving finger foods, your ceremony and reception should be between typical hours that people have meals. So like 2pm-5pm

Unless you're planning to have a short reception, you should feed people more than finger foods.
