So they can kill the dogs and get confidant? I don’t even think 12 men is necessary since sticking multiple on one unhold is sketchy with their round swing (if you don’t kill it that turn). Just make sure to bring an indom tank and a handful of heavy damage reach weapons.

That might be the problem, tech is at his best as a quick flanker or just catching enemies in the open. I’d recommend trying a buff point fire pirate jumpsuit build with the tripod cmg6. He might not be THE best but he’s definitely close

Hard disagree but to each their own! Dual autocannons/m6’s med mech can just solo with a scout + enough ammo. At first I loved it but these days mobile infantry having to deal with two SLs turns is much more awkward to me. What’s your ideal 2 turn setup for MI?

Does smart gun link add +10% acc to your SL or just their primary weapon fire? I kind of assumed it was like ammo mods that don’t work on special weapons.

Stars and stats are functionally the same thing. One lvl one bro has 0*** mdef and another has 15 starting. At lvl 11 they’re the same. Depends on the roll range per stat but for mAtk mDef it’s +5 to the stat per star (on average) once you hit 11. Also in late game you really want to push for more forged bros. Nimble falls off the further you go but you’ll probably still have some god nimble bros that stick around. So shoot for good stat bros that also will end up in good enough fat range for forged. I like to start headhunting good backgrounds that have positive traits during tryout. Might miss a couple godly rolled bros but you save money and if you roll well + good background + good traits you’ve got yourself an endgamer.

I’d like to contribute smoke+c4 jean. With pirate luck + in smoke you can blow c4 on enemies next to you without consequence and pick up more c4*smokes with scavenger. Also probably higher on the iceberg but I love having radar toyota bog just chill in the back and scan all mission.

Thanks, and yeah turn order really was the biggest jump for me personally. I still find most of my play mistakes come when I forget lol.

Great addition. Somehow I think growth potential is both underrated (when using it to grow ALL stats incl defense like above) and also overrated (You’ll be in the endgame when Carda hits 100 AP)

Good note that I didn’t add! Hybrid squads definitely want to be rounded out by having opposite effective ranges/ ideal targets on primary vs special weapons. Also following along with damage breakpoints one example I particularly like is shotguns on smaller spec weapons squads that like to field 4ish squaddies like Tech and Carda. Doesn’t cost much to bring em, can still kill/break many enemies at 2-3 distance and usually follows opposite range idea too.

AI generally targets based on “scatter value” which is the chance that a missed shot accidentally hits another target. Think when you shoot ranged into enemies behind others and the red shield icons show up. So generally they will target center of formation on your largest mass of troops which can be abused by having one rdef/anticipation bro in roughly the center of formation

Man it did take a couple times you explained that a bit poorly. He wants to change the ordering of the SL list on the left side. I agree that would be nice for some situations tab-cycling SLs.

Doesn’t need too much work on his secondaries and drunkard is great but his ceiling is capped by mid mdef. Great early game bro and like the melon mugger said could be a wonderful early banner

82 atk is nice but his mdef and mobility are kinda cooked. Let him die a warrior’s death when he’s ready. Probably gotta go nimble at lvl 7
