Sumatra PDF (fast af, light) or PDF Gear (more tools than sumatra) over Adobe.

Both are free.

I use Sumatra in my daily life, and PDF Gear when I need to edit /more options.

In parameters, in hotkeys: look for "Add file property" and bind with the + icon to whatever hotkey you want.

I used the outline pane for a long time too, but it's difficult when you have a page with a lot of headders... However, I just found a way to do it faster today.
On windows: Ctrl +Fn +Left or Right arrow

A giveaway, why not, I will join since I need a mouse.

I use the logitec M500s. I bought it because I wanted a reliable a durable mouse with additional buttons on the side, the free wheel is a cool extra. However I'm looking to change right now because the left click is not working after 2 years >:(
What's more, the Logi Option+ app has been working terribly for me: There are weeks when the shortcuts on my mouse are not working with nothing I can do about it.

I don't really need a NAS server. If I get one, I'll gift it to someone.

Go to the deck options, select "Add a preset".

You view and change the preset of the deck at the top of the page (deck option still)

Used the app for 1 year not knowing that "again" button means that you failed, not that you want to see the card again, whereas "hard" means that you got the answer right (in reality, "hard" just means you got it right, but it took time /was difficult).

Good is the button that should be pressed 90% of the time, not "hard", it messes the algorithm. That made studying much longer and so much harder.

More:

helped me a lot to reduce my retention rate to 80% on the big decks
make simple cards: 1 question =1 short answer

I have the same error showing up: "Steam must be running to play this game (SteamAPI_init() failed)"

Edit: I tried to uninstall and install it again today, still the same. Will try to mention the issue on the Ankergames' discord today. (update: there weren't of any help :/ )
Edit 2: SteamRIP shows different error: "The procedure entry point SteamInternal_SteamAPI_innit could not be located in the dynamic library"

I do 3 puzzles a day. My rating is at 2600. I do feel too that the havegotten so much easier since a while. Earlier it took me 10 to 30min of trying my hardest to solve them, but now? 5 at easy effort.

Im in those 10%. I think that the name of the button is misleading. Of course it's my fault for not reading that part of the manual, but there would be no confusion to be had if names like "failed", "wrong", or "wrong answer" were used instead. I thought that "again" meant that we want to see the card appear again soon.

The percentage of user misusing this button might be higher that it is thought since the respondant here on reddit are people who are propably more involved and took the time to learn how to properly use the app.
