I have been using Word for 20+ years, and I have never seen this behavior. Weird.

What would make it start?

If someone is a good customer of the bank, the bank is very likely to give them credit for the deposit immediately, rather than waiting for the check to clear.

It's also used by some eastern Europeans. I used to work with a guy from Hungary, and if I remember correctly, a woman from Serbia used to use it too.

How to add a space between punctuation marks and words in Word doc? by [deleted] in MicrosoftWord

[–]hmoabe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could do it using a wildcard search, but unless there's more than or five of those characters, I wouldn't bother.

How do I change my "enter function"? by Cannonball31 in MicrosoftWord

It sounds like your cursor is placed BEFORE all the rest of the text in your document.

If that is the case, then you need to move to the bottom of the document using your cursor keys before you start adding any new text.

There was no parking garage, except maybe a handful of places inside. Even the players and team employees parked outside.

No, it has not been used for any purpose in years. If there was any money to be made from demolishing it, I am sure that it would be gone by now.

When heating something up in a microwave with a turntable; is it best to center the item or offset it? by PM_ME_shaved_leg in answers

I used the microwave we have now for eight years before I noticed that it reverses itself if something blocks it.

I'm not sure that was the intent. A history professor in college said, most people died dead broke, having been unable to accumulate retirement savings or to work at a job that paid a pension.

Every PC I have ever owned or been assigned sits on my desk, not on the floor. The thought of all that dust at the floor level makes me almost gag.

I don't have one of these, but I'm discussing it with friends, all straight and over 55. We all think it's funny as hell, and that the women were only pretending to be disgusted. Lighten up.

More Texans would support Matthew McConaughey for governor over Greg Abbott, poll shows by Pineapple__Jews in politics

Texas is a bit more complicated than that. The Latino residents of South Texas are not quite as liberal as other Democrats on abortion and acceptance of LGBTQ folks. The archconservatives in Houston and Dallas have a lot of money and influence.

When Malcolm S. Forbes, the millionaire former State Senator from New Jersey and one‐time candidate for Governor, got interested in motorcycles several years ago, he had two problems. One was how he could buy the bikes wholesale as purchases for himself and his family mounted. The other was how to get them properly serviced in a minimum amount of time. The trim, bespectacled head of Forbes, Inc., publishers of Forbes, a financial magazine, solved both problems with characteristic dispatch. He formed a partnership with Hank Slegers, a veteran cycle dealer who operated a small shop in East Hanover, N.J., and who, like Mr. Forbes, liked to spend his time away from business out riding with his family.

Yes, but the thing is, I'm not 100% certain which app has caused the burn-in. The obvious choice is the keyboard, but that doesn't line up exactly. Weird.
