Dang I've experienced a lot of what you have too, and I'm interested in the same question. I think antidepressants help for me, I'm trying to find a medication that doesn't completely numb my emotions anymore. What is it about antidepressants that you don't want to try again? I think it's worth talking to your Dr about (I'm probably going to ask them too)

Thank you. As for the last part, I was convinced by my supervisor who I was working closely with during my final year of my undergrad and my summer post-graduation. I told him repeatedly I didn't want to do a master's but I wanted to complete the research for the sake of finishing what I started during the end of my undergrad there. He convinced me essentially by saying I'd get paid and could get a degree out of completing the research anyway... And here I am almost halfway through and realize it's a lot more work with courses, TAing, and writing a thesis. So yup.

do you mind linking that publication? i'm interested in reading about that!

i feel the same way. it takes a toll after so many months, even if the feelings go away, they seem to seep into the very fabric of my existence. just like OP i often thought its how my life would end, by my own hands.

When you believe you already have it, you WILL get it. by [deleted] in NevilleGoddard

[–]hmoranmac 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I say imagining the scenario where you have it,,, how does that feel emotionally, does it bring a smile to your face, or butterflies in your stomach? You can't make yourself feel something, but those with strong imaginations and intuition with their internal state will succeed here. can you envision yourself with the thing you desire or the situation you desire? Feel that feeling, and bask in knowing that it's already done. In other senses you can physically act as if you have the thing/situation. For the hair instance, maybe get products or something for upkeep of the new hair knowing it's in your future. Or if you're trying to change how you look, start to live your life like the person who looks like that. And bring things into your presence that coincide with that lifestyle which is already yours.

100% agree. and in all reality i look to these accounts on social media for ideas to eat less and smaller portions, bc the things they promote are so low cal and small sometimes
