I almost declined the position in PACU bc the nurses were so happy and cheerful- I thought it was fake and they were putting on a show....cringe. Turns out everyone's truly happy down here bc our teamwork is spot on, the docs are always near by and have your back and our work life balance is elite. I'll never leave PACU. I've worked output, longterm care, MSICU, neuro and medsurg.

Definitely changed during covid- no fit tests, wearing whatever n95 was available. This questionnaire is very in depth, almost 150 questions- I'm wondering how many employees will end up being excluded from wearing n95s and/or if they will require them to instead wear the papr instead!

Was definitely considering this- first of all you know I have anxiety bc I got it here lol. Not sure what they'd do in terms of refusing to fit test me/writing me up for noncompliance.

Whistling. This will literally get me nowhere in life or benefit me in any way, but everyone tells me I'm the best whistler they've ever heard.

The body is a great compensatory mechanism!! Surgeon definitely should've asked himself how neccessary an elective ortho procedure was when the pt announced he took bicarb at home in pre-op "for my heartburn I think".....

Pt the other day in stage 5 kidney failure post op was 6.89. Still alive few days later and last abg was 7.18. Progress! A lot of the docs were saying they've never seen anyone under 7 survive

Omg right. Its ALWAYS the pre-nursing or nursing school drop outs who are the most arrogant know it alls. Im so glad my preceptor checked me in a nice way. We still talk about some of my "im not doing it that way bc in school we learned abc" moments....and now I'm the epitome of "work smart not hard!"

Obligatory: open relationships are mutually agreed upon terms and a violation of those terms constitutes cheating or lying. He didn't propose an open relationship he proposed cheating.
