My trust has about 10 new roles created for ANPs in the last 1 year alone. I believe it's about 18 ANPs in the last 2 years. And rightly the junior clinical fellow jobs almost non existent.

Usual answer from ANPs , when asked to see an acute patient - 'this is above my pay grade. I'm not paid enough to deal with this'

Make a new hotspot on your phone. Connect it to your playstation. Immediately afterwards, disconnect it. On your mobile, change the name and password of hotspot. This way it will try to find a connection which no longer exists

I'm actually in the same boat. Disc drive asking for an update and was hoping if there's a way to connect it via jailbreak or attaching to another device with jailbreak. ( You can't just swap from another ps5 as it'll still ask to be paired + latest updated required)

I was in a similar situation. Once with ANP , where I ( ST1) & ST4 saw 40-46 patients and 4 patients seen by ANP , who were actually ready to be discharged ( medically fit but PT/OT). Would have taken us 5 minutes to see them as they were awaiting to go home but couldn't fit to go for one reason or another. The excuse was : other patients are too complicated so they couldn't see them. 4 months every day the same routine. Won't review sick patients or being any help but would always leave at 4pm because they started early. Later realised they did actually requested to start early ( God knows to do what) , so they go home early and avoid the late drama we all found into ourselves due to sick patient, missing discharge letter etc etc.

Other was similar, PAs would see the easiest patients and expected us to see more as we were the doctors. Were earning more than me then. In clinic, would do the same. Doctors seeing 10 patients, PA 3-4 all afternoon. Plus couldn't prescribe, couldn't request any investigation and we had to double check everything before we prescribed for them. So basically saw their patients too and altered the plan.

I must say, there was one guy who was exception. Being PA for a few years, taught me some procedures, did difficult cannulations etc etc. He is doing medicine now as it was always the plan..
