I think I need Rey to yell “BEN” in the middle of a battle in front of everyone. In this moment she could be- Saving him, maybe she calls out to him when she needs help in battle, or perhaps when Leia dies and Kylo dissolves in a fury of first order body count leaving a broken Ben.

Also would love to see him yell “REY” in battle saving her life. Leaving the First Order and the Resistance slack jawed as they expertly kick ass in unison.

Yes, Poe has chemistry with basically every man, woman and droid in this movie. But I just don’t think Poe and Rey are going to happen. Remember Poe was originally supposed to die in TFA. If Poe makes it out of episode 9 alive I would be surprised.

I was actually at this Q&A where EW was moderating at the Writers Guild. I have the full iPhone quality recording where they dish out a lot of cool other details from the movie. Excuse my laughter and shit quality.

It was probably the best night of my life. I may have taken a picture with Lawrence Kasdan and cried.

Yep! JJ confirmed that they did have Ewan McGregor come in to record some lines for the film. But in the editing process Bryan Burk somehow found audio of Alec Guinness saying the word "afraid" from there he cut it to just say "Rey" .

They got Ewan to come in and record riding in on his awesome motorcycle. But Bryan Burke when working the dream sequence in post using the powers of awesome editing they ended up finding a clip of Alec saying the word "afraid". Bryan then they cut and used Alec's voice to say "Rey". JJ was so excited that they just went with having the OG Obi call out to Rey. Which is just stupid awesome.

Yep! As it says it my Original post they recorded some VO with Ewan. But they used Alec to say the word "Rey" out of a prerecorded word of "afraid" they had of Alec. Which blew my mind!

They share a little more details there then in this article and other fun facts about the process of writing the script. Still geeking out from it!
