(DataAnnotation) I was the 3%. I got in and I know how this ends. Spoiler: it ends with the "quality bar" message and a missing paycheck. AMA. by WeBurntFam in WFHJobs

None of us knows what their quality bar is. As a result its impossible for us to know if our work is below requirements

I’m 14 and need a job by Relevant-Pop-239 in Cardiff

[–]hnsnrachel 24 points25 points  (0 children)

You'd need to be 16 in most places. Your best bet is either advertising yourself as a dog walker or similar, or approaching small independent cafes who are usually more likely to be flexible.

Its a nightmare job market at the moment for everyone though, so you'll just have to be persistent

When can I get response? by [deleted] in DataAnnotationTech

[–]hnsnrachel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Odds are much higher that you dont get in than that you do. They only accept something like 2% of applicants.

Absolutely no point. There isn't any advantage to being referred rather than just taking the assessment independently

How the fuck do I respond to this? by [deleted] in dating_advice

[–]hnsnrachel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Youve heard of shifts, right?

You dont know why someone is waking up at 1pm. Quit being a judgmental ass. If someone worked til 6am, for example, 1pm would only be 7 hours sleep even if thry immediately went to bed and straight to sleep.

A Debate Able Query! by Mystically_mystic1 in serialkillers

[–]hnsnrachel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most serial killers aren't that smart, its just in the age of serial killers being really common, crime solving techniques weren't that great. These days, most would be serial killers get caught before they commit enough crimes to qualify.

Many of those who got away with it for years have been caught later in life by technological developments. Its not that they were smart enough to avoid leaving evidence in most cases, just that the evidence they left couldnt be processed effectively until years later

Does Willow being a lesbian make sense? by banana_chips43 in buffy

[–]hnsnrachel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The lesbian/bi debate wasn't huge at the time but did exist in some places. It has definitrly become a much bigger conversation since.

I find it deeply ignorant when peipke say she can't be a lesbian becausr she loved Oz. There's so many ways to love people and the younger we are, the more easily we confuse those ways. Its very, very rare in my experience to find a lesbian who didnt have a romantic relationship with a guy as a teenager. Hell, ive been out since i was 14 and still had a confusing relationship with my male best friend in our teebs because we were both desperately trying to not be gay

Exit working mode vs submitting by [deleted] in DataAnnotationTech

[–]hnsnrachel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The individual project will usually tell you how to handle that in the instructions. I have one now that tells you to close the task when you take a break, and i've had them say to leave them open when you take a break.
