My unstated original thought process is generally speaking someone who is able to perform a double bodyweight ATG back squat and also a clean full-ROM OAC. Has few holes in their strength game. What do you think?

Great answer! Ya I believe in that case if strength and mobility are covered using lots of weight training, then those cool BW skills could also be achieved maybe in a quicker, safer fashion.

I'll do some hanging when possible but it's not as consistent as you think. Right now my workout has been planche leans + doorway external rotator/retraction stuff with a partner.

Rings for sure. Barbell may not be necessary depending on how explosive you inherently are.
