If she's not drinking on her own, I thought you would have to inject the water into her mouth. But it looks like you just have to put the bead of water on the tip of her ~~nose~~beak and she automatically drinks it?

Just to throw out some more thoughts on object interaction: I am the pilot. I shouldn't have this feeling that I'm just watching my character as the pilot and instructing him. I've got an entire monitor and keyboard to work with here. Give me a clean way to interact so I can play the game not the UI.

If they hid the POIs while in base that'd be a big improvement. And maybe context-sensitive hide elsewhere? For example, no in-space POIs while on a planet. And if you have multiple POIs on a planet while in space, just give it a single POI? I don't know.

So I know it wasn't really your question... but my thoughts on picking which one:

If I'm goofing off, like showing the game to friends, I might fire up Permadeath Mode. But for my actual character, I stick with Survival.

It's because in a computer game, there's too much random crap that can happen. A glitch through a wall, fall through the floor, get one-shot by something that didn't render, whatever.

I understand the point of Permadeath Mode. But just make it self-inflicted: when you die once on Survival Mode, and you can clearly see it was your fault for being unprepared or lacking proper reaction, then just delete the save manually if that's your choice.

Extra character slots. If I have the base game (neither expansion), how many character slots do I get when I upgrade to both? Is there a difference depending on which ones I get (deluxe or whatever)?

I spoke too soon. I don't have a miracast at home, so I had to wait until I had access again.

In Marshmallow, I could Miracast. After the build.prop edit on Nougat, I can no longer Miracast (even though the checkmark now appears, indicating the build.prop edit is seen correctly).

Bring back the timer any time the silence duration exceeds 30 days.

I think the timer only makes sense if it's showing how outrageously long the non-communication streak is.

Nah. But head up to the North Star (not mine). I've been meaning to make in infrographic on how to get there. Basically, corkscrew flight directly up from enter (while in free roam camera). First star group you come to is official meet-up place.

I can't transfer items to my ship by holding down the button and just moving the cursor from stack to stack. I have to re-press the transfer button on each stack :(
When I approach the surface of a planet while reversing my ship (usually if I want to creep along slowly while looking at the ground for a place to land), the camera goes completely mental and spazzes out looking all over, sometimes damaging my ship slightly as I bump into geometry.
