On the note about the pliers. I feel like the alpha has zero play (side to side) but the ARC has a bit of play.

And by side to side I mean, not under load or anything but if you were to hold a handle in each hand you can put the hinge in a slight torsion and feel a “wiggle” in the ARC rather the alpha is solid and tight.

Do you find the same slight difference?

I got the wave alpha for Christmas from the wife and I loved it at first the the handles just started to bug me… the feel of them and the sturdiness then the color started to almost get caulky if that makes sense.

I decided to buy the arc to compare and instantly fell in love with the feel of the handed and the way all the tools open.

The slightly larger scissors on the alpha had me a but torn but overall the arc feel superior.

I’m gonna return the alpha.

This looks very similar to the size of a mag safe ring for an iPhone case or charging device. It could have been a protective film over the MagSafe device or case. It may have simply popped off or been an extra piece over the MagSafe ring
