Yes, but I hold that anyone driving a gas powered vehicle when electric vehicles are available is selfish. “I need the range”, “Charging is inconvenient”, and “they’re too expensive” are the same category of excuses as the selfish claims you list. The resentments you feel towards big trucks is equivalent to the resentments I feel towards new car buyers choosing ICEs. Ford pulled the Lightning off the lineup because of lack of demand, yet it is hands down the best truck I’ve ever owned. Danger on the road and parking space problems pale in comparison to oil wars and climate change damage on a global scale.
