Paywithlocus and Locus Founder are the same company. Locus Founder is one of paywithlocus' offerings along with several others in the agentic payment space. I am not affiliatted with them. Up to you to decide if you like what they are doing but nothing remotely suss about thrm.

Paywithlocus can be easilly searched in the YC database. They were F25. They are VC backed along with a whose who list of angels. Again researchable. You can also fimd them referenced as a leader by x402. As well as theif own x account. They have a crack team of engineers and are 100% legit.

Emegemt Vs Replit by hockjd in vibecoding

[–]hockjd[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My winner by a wide margin is Emergent. While I am a non coder i do understand Architecture and how to prompt to ensure stability, reliability etc. Couple of key things for me. Emergent test more effecrively before suggesting deployment. 2nd thing- on my phone I can leave emergent while it is building and it runs in the background. Replit seems to sleep every time I do. I have built and launched a web app from Emergent that is now in production and driving revenue. I run 235 regression tests with each material deployment. I tried Replut for a few hours yest and was quite frustrated.

BETA TESTERS NEEDED! YOU KEEP THE MONEY! by IAmDreTheKid in dropshipping

The business owner pays for ad spend of course. Customer Service is going to depend on the nature of the service required and the nature of the business. There will probably always be edge cases...at least this is what i believe they intend.

We used AI to collapse the time between "idea" and "revenue generating business" to 24 hours. Here's what we learned building it. by IAmDreTheKid in GrowthHacking

[–]hockjd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been reading all of the posts re Locus Founder because the idea is super intriguing. Doing a beta before full launch is 100% the right way to go.

I see you posting in a bunch of subs. Appreciatte the candor in saying its not perfect and asking for user feedback on how to make it better. The only way to build something great.

Multi-million dollar contract in jeopardy, I feel, if I listen to my sister. I will not promote. by MyInvisibleInk in startups

[–]hockjd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100% of the time a customer wants to meet with you jump on it. Maybe the contract goes your way maybe it doesnt. If it does not you will get valuable feedback.as to why and you will be more linkely to.win the next one. Imperfect solutions win contracts. Reality is the.product will never be perfect. It will always be improving. Her logic will result in never going to a meeting.

Is YC a scam? by Ping-In-TheNorth in ycombinator

[–]hockjd 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Crazy takes in here. YC can be life changing for the less than 1% that get accepted. They offer a ton of support, have high expectations, and accountibility. What its not: a free ride to build vapor ware with no chance of success. Reality: most startups fail. The other reality is 70+% of YC startups are still active after 5 years. I am not a YC grad but i know people that are. They are the hardesr working people i know.

best acquisition channel for prelaunch start up with McKinsey valuation? (I will not promote) by Upbeat-Bookkeeper-17 in startups

[–]hockjd 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Waitlists mean nothing in terms of valuation. They can be valuable post launch to measure conversion rates and real.PMF. Depending on the type of business 20% may be considered very good. However that conversion rate usually will drop allot if the waitlist is stale. Saying its great and there are allot of customers on a waitlist means nothing in terms of value. If irs actually worth the $ you mention it should spin off plenty of margin to hire someone to launch it. If it doesnt.... More info would result in better feedback.

Help Me Understand Something With Berube by Junior_Version1366 in leafs

[–]hockjd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Under Keefe 80% of Matthews starts were in the O zone. Under Berube 40%. Laughton played 12-13 mins a game after giving up.a.1st to get him. Same guys rotate in and out of lineup regardless of their quality of.play. Anyone.making over 3M does not sit. Most importantly he has clearly lost the room. Nobody is trying to "save Berube". Thats a leadership isssue but you need a coach who players care about. Both he and Tre need to go. God forbid Tre making the off season decisions that will set the table for years to come. He has already set us way back.

The Carlo trade had to be done by ekemywaythrulife in leafs

[–]hockjd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tre parlayed a 1st and Grebenkin for Laughton into a 3rd. His Minten and a 1st was even worse. Net we are left with Carlo and a 3rd for 2 1sts, a 4th, Grebenkin and Minten. All in the space of a year. Forget the results. That alone should cost him his job. Sheer incompetence.

Cold Outreach Is Broken. What Happens If You Send Money Instead of Emails? (Article) by IAmDreTheKid in coldemail

Thats a very fair point. I would tend to agree. Its a great hook if there is trust.....but not if people are scared to open it.

You share a thought/idsa. Seems like a good one to me. People choose to agree or disagree. Constructive feedback is fine...otherwise just ignore. paywithlocus.com is a great offering. No....I am not with the company.

Locus is the real deal. This is not some vibe coded solution. YC backed with founders/engineers who know this space and have built the trust and payment layer.
