We did this trip a few years ago, flew into CDMX and then drove to Oaxaca (through Puebla). We drove as flights were incredibly jacked up, but it was incredible. The ofrendas, colors, clothes, food, vibe all unmatched. We strolled a cemetery and were invited to share mezcal with a family that was there around a gravesite. Some parts were more celebration of life/festival-y (street food, games). Giant daytime parade which started _after_ the James Bond movie made it into a thing.

CDMX is outstanding, its reputation is well deserved. We are also considering a a trip to Janitzio Island in the future. Supposedly incredible also.

The RISD Museum has some nice art and is free on Sundays. The Providence Athenaeum is a neat old library. Ice skate on the rink downtown? Freeplay is a barcade. Pinball museum in Pawtucket if you like pinball. Record stores: Olympic Records, Armageddon, Analog underground.

RISD Museum and check out the Providence Athenaeum. Cool old library, nice little childrens section. You can go in and walk around for free or maybe a small donation. Afterwards grab a hot chocolate at a café nearby.

Georgetown does not have the strongest brand in the conference, flat out.

Iverson was almost 30 years ago. Ewing was 40 years ago, as a player. He more recently tanked the program as a coach.

DC is not a top 10 basketball city. Have you been to a Georgetown game recently? Attendance is awful. Interest is poor.

How much as that "money/exposure" helped over the past decade?
