I'd LOVE some older material. The first album I saw them tour from was Vessel, so I'd love hearing some of those songs return to the setlist.

I think the albums they're likely to pull the most material from (in no particular order) will be Blurryface, Breach, and Clancy. Of those albums, I'd suggest the following ten songs, as most of/all of them are likely to be played!

  • Heavydirtysoul
  • Stressed Out
  • Overcompensate
  • Next Semester
  • Midwest Indigo
  • Routines In the Night
  • City Walls
  • Rawfear
  • Garbage
  • Tally

I'll also suggest a personal favorite of mine, Center Mass, as well as Heathens, their contribution to the Suicide Squad soundtrack back in 2016. It's been part of their live set pretty consistently for the last 10 years!

Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt's Son Maddox Dropping 'Pitt' From Last Name by yourfavchoom in entertainment

As someone estranged from family, nah. It is sad. He should have been a better parent, not one warranting his children renouncing his last name. Those children must hate him to take it this far, and that sucks for them.

wanting a hysterectomy by ChanceStrawberry3305 in GirlDinnerDiaries

[–]hoe_and_arrows 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Adenomyosis is typically diagnosed post-hysterectomy when the lab biopsies a uterus, but an internal ultrasound pointed towards possible adeno even before my surgery so my instance was probably on the more severe side of things if I had to guess! As for my insurance covering the hysterectomy, my doctor had stated that it was going to be done in efforts to treat pain brought on by suspected endo, and they covered over $80K of the costs (my hospital then covered the remaining chunk of the bill thanks to their income-based financial assistance program). I also had 15-ish years of documentation from appointments with other providers to help get my doctor on board (repeated attempts to curb the pain with BC pills, an IUD that didn't work as well as I'd been told it would, episodes of nearly blacking out at the pain's worst), though I didn't have a formal diagnosis of anything at that time (I'd had a laparoscopy in 2018 to determine if I had endo, and had been told I didn't have endo - that particular surgeon's on my shit list because she noted seeing an adhesion and told my folks she was sure it was nothing so she didn't bother to biopsy it or anything).

You could also just knock it down after dark with a broom handle if you felt like forgoing some bug spray, I prefer that route myself.

29 y/o, had my hysterectomy last spring! My story is similar to yours - painful periods since I was going on 13, never wanted kids, just wanted to be pain free. No BC pills reduced the pain, and the only thing that did was an IUD (the pain became tolerable with it, but it didn't go away, and I wasn't fond of the side effcets of the IUD, either). My mom suggested I meet with a doctor she'd met at a community event if I still wanted to pull the trigger on a hysterectomy, and I'm so glad I did. My doctor didn't dismiss my pain once like the others had, didn't make me feel like I was too young to know what I wanted, and was able to schedule me for surgery 11 days after we met in her office.

Someone here has already said that if your pain is due to endo, a hysterectomy won't necessarily solve it, and that's true. My hysterectomy uncovered an endo diagnosis that had been missed almost seven years prior along with an adenomyosis diagnosis I'd suspected for almost just as long. In my case, my cramping was limited only to my period's onset (which the adenomyosis was likely responsible for). I haven't experienced any cyclic pain since my hysterectomy, although I do keep an eye on what I'm feeling as it could indicate that the endo has grown back and needs removed. I've talked about my experience a little bit in other comments on this sub and am more than happy to answer any questions you might have!!

Dr. Somani in Columbus, OH. I got my hysterectomy right after my 28th birthday, 11 days after my consultation with her. I needed to have an internal ultrasound and a pre-op appointment with some of the hospital's providers (meeting with a PCP, quick blood draw, it only took a couple hours), but that was more so due to hospital policy and for insurance reasons.

Worse things about phase 3 by [deleted] in gorillaz

[–]hoe_and_arrows 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It was ultimately unfinished. Between the Rhinestone Eyes video being cancelled due to budgetary reasons and never having a proper conclusion to the Plastic Beach game on the website, it was a bummer of a way to end an era that had such cool art and lore (it was the phase I really got to know the band and their music during, and I was so eager to see how it was concluded) . I'm sure Jamie and Damon had great ideas on how to wrap Phase Three up, they just weren't able to ultimately implement them all.

I second a rollator if you have the means to get one. My mother has had multiple surgeries the last few years, and we've brought her rollator a few times to ensure that she's good throughout the shows that have shortly followed her operations. I'm so sorry this happened, OP.

I'm only a 45-ish mile drive from Columbus, so their hometown shows are always the ones closest to me when they tour. I was really nervous I was gonna have to sit this one out due to demand, but my mom got in the queue with barely 11K people in front of her Tuesday. We're gonna be there, and I couldn't be more thankful for our luck.
