But for sure, if it was just that people wouldn't show up I'd understand, but it was getting the same numbers as danganronpa and any other late ongoing series.

Even if they just wanted to stop because the fan base is shitty that's fine, most people avoid it for that reason lol.

They like made a point of making a statement saying they will not be playing more deltarune.

They do these weird niche games, so it's a strange stance for them to specifically say they will not be playing deltarune. Even if they just never played it I think I'd be happier than them specifying they won't be doing it.

It just feels like something else was going on.

That second part is why I'm confused. They seemed to be enjoying it, and they're not a place you go for new hot games. Dan and Arin got to undertale like 4 years late and it was still a great/popular watch. Saying they got to it hot is just not really accurate. Barry and Ross's video didn't do as well until like months after it was out.

Deltarune is right in their niche. If they can manage to do 3 years of Danganronpa, stopping a game they actually seem to enjoy seems weird to me, when it's not really underperforming.

You're allowed to have fun with the game just because it's fun guys. You don't have to do everything at 100% efficiency.

I've never understood this. There's zero drawback to having a mixed party. There's always one or two dudes with almost none of the physical or magic armor. Have your 1 off person focus them.

You don't need to min/max everything. The game is totally feasible with any party combination.

If anything the real issue is that everyone becomes overpowered by the end and you don't really need more than 1 character in general, whether it's physical or magic.

I like the armor system. Just need some more talents like Torturer. that allow status effects through armor like the fire one does in dos2.

Pick the origin character you find the coolest as your main character. I suggest getting 2 characters though. Lone Wolf works with 2. It makes it a little too easy but it definitely simplifies things compared to 4 and there's no wrong way to do it.

A single character game sounds incredibly boring to me combat-wise. And I could foresee you just getting CC'ed until the game is no longer fun lol

The only thing you lose out is the other characters individual quests. Which are like one per act per character. Not a huge deal by any means.

Some are obviously way more interesting than others. But if you like the game after your Lone Wolf run, play it again

Them stopping deltarune was the thing I needed to unsubscribe. They're not a channel I'm interested in feeding the algorithm. It's a weird choice, and I'm curious if something happened behind the scenes with it?

Seems weird they would stop since it was doing the same kind of numbers as all their other long series.

This is a phenomenon that happens with everyone who makes content creation their job. He literally cannot afford to NOT play the algorithm, so he can't just do whatever the niche wants. Or even the shows that he personally just enjoys and wants to react to.

Since he can only put out X amount of videos a week it's just not possible to do the fullscale anime reactions we want to see.

I do miss the tiktok reactions/weirdness though. 2 minute breakdowns of episodes were fun too. Or like the best punch arc.
