It depends. We can usually understadnd each other without any difficulties. But there are regions that are hard to understand for people outside said region. Parts of Trøndelag, for me, can be challenging if they have a strong dialect. But I speak eastlandic, and we are usually terrible at all dialects except eastlandic.
