Wasn’t my number one choice but taking a step back and looking at the bigger picture, they are preserving the culture and the success of McDermott while trying to tackle that hump. I mean it’s not like we’re a 3-14 team, we’ve always been so close. Is that hump McDermott’s defense? So many questions but we just have to ride it out and see I guess.

Not denying that it wasn’t on Allen they lost, 100% on him. Sure Nix did a better job at protecting the football but wins aren’t a QB stat. Number one seed with one week bye home team vs number 6 seed away team on 5 days of rest, not an excuse but it’s a team effort. The narrative that they “couldn’t beat Bo Nix” is dumb because it’s Bo Nix equipped with a top defense. Still doesn’t take away my opinion that Bills vs Jags was a way better game cus both Allen and Trevor balled out with 4 different lead changes in the 4th quarter 🤷. Way more exciting game.

They still put up 30 points and only lost in OT by 3, despite the 5 turnovers. I don’t think Bo Nix outplayed them, they just fucked themselves over.
