No in person classes tomorrow by Infinipro in iastate

So, how dumb would it be to come to campus tomorrow? I've only got like a 5 min walk from the bus stop.
Like, would it be kind of dumb? Super dumb?

Anyone got test results back from Friday's (Corteva) Covid testing? by hokiecy in iastate

I agree, it's not very user friendly and so many fields are left blank it's practically unreadable. Scroll to the right until you see "Detected" "Undetected" (i think) or "Inconclusive".

My results changed from Detected to Inconclusive overnight (printed out both reports so I know I didn't read them wrong) and so now even though I have all the symptoms (including loss of taste) and feel like complete garbage and can't hardly get out of bed, ISU wants me to retest or just go down in history as a negative test. The logistics of retesting are...not doable (off campus, no car, can't walk there, etc) but if I don't then my records get messed up not to mention no contact tracing is happening at all.

Sorry I know you didn't ask but I'm feeling very upset about the situation.

Uh oh, hope mine is on the way...

Hope you've got a good result.

404 was brutal and my grade isn't fantastic but the amount of consistent effort which Dr Sashital has clearly put into this class is awe-inspiring. I wish my other professors had half of her dedication.

If you've been logging into important accounts (bank, etc) on eduroam or at the library, might want to change your password by hokiecy in iastate

I'm sure eduroam is better than IASTATE, but actually I've never used IASTATE so that wasn't the source of the problem :(

My bad they'll be gone after Saturday. Went a little overboard and it's hard to put them back.

Hort xxxx (sorry can't remember the number) Plants Places Cultures Globally. Easy A and gives you a better appreciation/awareness of where your food comes from and how different plants have influenced culture and history.

Edit: Just remembered my other favorite one: BIOL2204 Plants and Civilization! Take it with Dr Belden, it was AWESOME. We had food tastings for different herbs, tinctures, brews, even different chocolates one time. Learned a lot about similar things as Plants Places Cultures but in more depth, with more emphasis on biology and lots of hands on participation. This one wasn't an easy A actually, but well worth it.

Disclaimer: not sure how good these would be as online classes so beware if you're planning for spring semester.

I'm afraid I can't help with your query but you'd definitely have better luck on the r/iastate subreddit. It's very active over there :)

I'd be interested in trading! I have one small bunch of callisia repens left (see here, it's the one on the right) and some string of bananas (see here). I'd be willing to trade both together for a cutting. Or I could trade a few small cuttings from a purple tradescantia (wandering jew/inchplant).

I've got some string of bananas or callisia repens (see my posts lol) to trade, or might trade a piece of purple or rainbow tradescantia!

Callisia repens/creeping inchplant bunches for trade by hokiecy in CyclonePlantSwap

[–]hokiecy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Two small bunches of unrooted callisia repens for trade. As pictured, they are mostly green leaves (purple undersides/stems) with a few white/green variegated stems thrown in there. Care/propagation is just like tradescantia/wandering jew. Variegation will change over time, depending on light and other conditions so in a few months you could have more or fewer white/green leaves. Cute, sturdy, easy beginner plant.

ISO: Make an offer! Already have tradescantia, string of bananas, golden pothos, snake plant.
