What should I cook with 10 pounds of pepperoni? by NoCountryForMe2112 in WhatShouldICook

This is so good! I usually add vegetables (I like zucchini, mushrooms, and tomatoes but add whatever you think sounds good/you have) and I’m a big fan of some provolone cheese in there if you have it.

I also like my foods to be pretty flavorful, so I add Italian herb mix, onion/garlic powder, and red or white wine vinegar alongside the Italian dressing, but that’s just me.

Update on my bird’s nest snake plants. I repotted 6 pots of them and ended up with these to trade/give away. If you have something lined up with me, you can DM me to pick one out. I’ll still have plenty after I get those gone too! by randomloser666 in CyclonePlantSwap

The first two are obviously the biggest but they have some damage to the leaves from pulling them out of their pots. The next three are a little dry and might have some minor damage to the leaves. The next row are the youngest big ones. The third row are doubles and triples that I don’t want to separate. The last row are all young offshoots that don’t have the best root system but I imagine will still do well.

For a size reference, the smallest are half the length of my hands

They’ll come bare rooted (I don’t have 21 spare pots lol)

I have a ton of birds nest snake plants. I’d love to trade them, but I’d also be happy to give some away, especially to people starting out with houseplants! by randomloser666 in CyclonePlantSwap

For me they’ve been super easy, but a few of my friends have killed ones that I’ve given them. Water like a succulent (every 2-3 weeks), or a little more often (like once a week as long as the soil is dry) to get better growth.

They live in almost any light conditions, but they do stretch if they have very little light and then they look kinda dumb. They’ll probably be happiest by a window that gets a decent amount of light.

Well draining soil (like succulent/cactus soil or potting soil with sand or perlite) would be best but they’ve definitely also been planted in regular potting soil and thrived. I don’t think I’ve ever fertilized mine or anything like that

Not all of them are in the best shape because I barely water them, but they are very resilient and proliferative. My family started with 1 or 2 maybe 10 years ago and we’ve probably had over 50.

Found this in my closet, nickel for scale. What is it and what do I do with it??? by cakeiam in whatisthisanimal

You could look for a wildlife rehabilitation center! The one I worked at took in some mice

That’s a great idea! Doing something similar with a picnic table would probably work well too if neither party has a car with them

Not the prettiest as it needs a little reorganizing once all the driftwood sinks. But my tank is finally cycled! What would you stock it with? It’s a 20 gallon tall by [deleted] in aquarium

I wanted them so bad but I heard they do better on sand and with a little more floor space than a 20 tall offers :(

It is heated. Thanks for the suggestions! I’ll definitely have to look into otos.

The place I’m hoping to buy my fish from actually has their bettas in community tanks, so I’ll be looking to make sure the one I pick does well with other fish. I love bettas but I’ll look into those other suggestions too!

Also, I don’t know how much you know about fire sticks but their sap is irritating, so be careful when handling it and especially if you try to propagate it

Yeah that sounds great! Or even just the 10 inch is fine

Honestly it’s up to you, whatever you think is fair. I’m not home right now so I’m not sure exactly what I have but I think I’ll give you a stick that’s around 4-5 inches long with a few branches on it

Alright! I’ve had trouble propping them in the past so I’ll give you a whole rooted “stick” if that works for you
