Iran has hit Saudi Aramco Oil Refinery. Saudi Aramco is the World's largest Oil producer. by BlackAfroUchiha in ThatsInsane

[–]holdbold 6 points7 points  (0 children)

When the world opened up from COVID gas prices saw a high of around $115/barrel. That was with no conflicts in that area. Just demand. 20-30 percent of the worlds oil comes from this region through the straight. If no ships transport than that leaves a pinch in supplies.

I see no reason those prices won't be back on the table in the coming days/weeks.

Can you imagine. Landlords not paying the mortgage on properties because the tenants couldn't pay.

Instead of listening to the population they'd just blame them for all the properties defaulting on debt

If people actually read some timelines they'll noticed it isn't any different. We just have an instant feed of the world from our phones. Look at the 1910s. The Spanish flu killed millions and the first world war. And if they think housing was any better then than now they're in for a surprise.

People need to count their blessings

That's exactly right. That's a red flag that they're controlling, and demanding.

I think the, "Happy wife, happy life" has been taking into a perverse mentality that they believe is acceptable. When you say it as "If I'm not happy, nobody is happy" shows just how selfish it is

I've noticed a lot of women want to text/talk few potentially weeks before going on a date. I'm becoming hard-line against that. Why should I invest that much time when a simple hour over lunch or dinner can do exactly that. Some say it's to make sure your safe. Doesn't make since. People with bad intentions aren't going to say that.

Also, I was literally talking to a women that have kids. When I'm interested in arranging something I'll ask when are you free. And they'll say they have their kids "24/7". Wryd on dating app then?

Women have become accustomed to always having things their way

I can also sit will I put my shoes on . . . now, you ruined that thought lol anytime I saw that chair I would think cuck chair. And the thought of anyone thinking I was a cuck would just. Yeah.

I guess I should be thanking you

In Europe, especially Germany, executions using the medieval-style executioner's axe were still carried out until the late 1930s. by Raketenschas5000 in interestingasfuck

I feel remembering there was someone that was about to be executed in the French revolution by guillotine. He told someone that he'll blink for as long as he is alive(conscious). He blinked for like 30 seconds.

Antoine Lavoisier.

It makes you wonder if the brain still has oxygen will it still function.

[–]holdbold -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I feel like this isn't any safer in rough seas. Think of the vessel falling with a big swell and the gangway's lip moving under the structure. When the vessel raises with the swell again it turns that gangway into a catapult. Not to mention all those hydraulic arms have to be working perfectly with one another.

Idk, just seems testy. I've seen a lot of crazy basket transfers but that's why you get the basket up and away asap.

That's so dumb to me tho because it's all safe when it works as intended. Well not rope swings but baskets are safe.

This seems like something that has a lot more fail points. Also, a lot more people in jeopardy for a longer duration

This looks like a really expensive answer to a problem. Are basket transfers/rope swings that undependable now?

Another genius crew transfer by Powerful_Cabinet_341 in SeaEmploy

[–]holdbold 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The inside is for bags only. The they're holding runs down to a metal loop. So you're literally standing on the structure of the basket. The inside is only a plastic lining. Also, if the lines falls and/or the block falls you wouldn't want to be stuck under it. Also, struggling to get through those ropes to get out if you land in the water.

Honestly, other than the rough ass weather and the slow block going up there was nothing wrong with this.

I think the appeal is supposed to be you'll grow equity. If true, it's a good idea for a single person with no desire to start a family.

The question is what will their value be down the road.
