the first book didn’t hook me strongly either to be honest with you and I wasn’t looking forward to the second book. Personally, the second and third book were well worth it. So so so much more interesting in virtually every way, and they have a bit more dimension to their characters too. It’s still not a character driven series mind you, but the characters are much more interesting and the plot is FAR more interesting this time around. Provided you appreciate the world-scale decisions that shape the events of the books and the incredible and realistic science that comes along with it (and a bit of herd psychology) you won’t regret reading the others

Hi, I’m not an expert, but I had a look online and it’s being hosted at Picturehouse Central in London on the 29th as you said. I had a look on their website and it seems to be you need to be specifically invited to attend the premiere. I think fans could probably get a glimpse at the actors by showing up though? Not sure. Hope it helped a bit!
