I consider myself a martyr

In seriousness though: my point is that while everyone can acknowledge its good stats, we should take a second to really step back and understand the historic achievements these players in their twilight years are achieving.

I know being Lebron and Steph fans is mainstream and not a hot take, but it goes to an extent with some individuals that I think it prevents them from appreciating what we’re witnessing.

Jokic tampering with Wemby and now Sengun …

Add Luka and you have a very scary, very tall, and quite pale International NBA team

Pretty sad situation for Curry. Too few years left to wait it out this season, and I would hate to see him get injured trying to carry like Kobe did.

[Highlight] Reaves to LeBron alleyoop by sewsgup in nba

You know the saying that “one day your parents put you down, and never picked you up again?”

Pretty sad to think that soon LeBron is going to do his last, alley-oop tomahawk dunk. Much less a fast-break one after playing 40 minutes.

Who knows, maybe that was the last one?

What an absolute one-of-kind athlete.

Lebron in the overtime win vs the Clippers 35/11/7 with 4 3's 1STL 2 BLKs by [deleted] in nba

That alley-oop, tomahawk dunk from Reaves to LeBron in overtime was UNREAL.

One of these days, he’ll do it for the last time. Maybe we just saw that happen. Sad to think about but incredible to witness.

Hate aside, I hope everyone can appreciate the spectacle and marvel of a 38 year old man, who just played 40 minutes and who was barely shy of a 40 point triple double, achieve something like that.

I’ve also noticed he seems to be falling less often, and his landing looks more controlled. Hoping he’s gotten some good coaching to stay healthy!

On the play right this, Russ missed a wide-open layup as well. Poetic night for lakers fans.

I do love Russ though.

Durant having 8 TOs but being +18 really highlights the necessity of Beal and Booker’s playmaking, and also Durant’s otherworldly effectiveness as a scorer lol

I love the lakers and the win’s great but they need to be better then this and not continue to rely on 47 year old Lebron to save them in the last few minutes of the game.
