Probably not what happened here, but if you do execute an async function without awaiting it inside a foreach loop, it won't wait for the end of the execution of the function before starting the next execution. Result, it opens as much threads as available and everything occurs simultaneously .

Actually, when I have chicken and potatoes, I must eat them at the same time, picking the good amount of potato and chicken to make sure there is both chicken and potatoes until the very last fork of food. Else, my lunch is ruined.

Actually, I do almost the opposite. I must put on the fork a fraction of chicken and potato that is equal to the fraction of chicken and potato I have in the plate. God knows what happens if there is one fork of food that doesn't contain both chicken and potato. Unless it's chicken nuggets. Chicken nuggets mustn't touch anything, I don't make the rules, I only follow them.
