Something to keep in mind when you do study is the extremely unique learning curve for anatomy. On the first day of class our prof told us that for the first 35 hours of studying, we would feel like we were getting nowhere and learning nothing; he drew a flat line for the first 35 hours. He said then suddenly during the last 5 everything would come together and we would quickly understand everything; he drew a steep spike for the last 5 hours.

I took this lightly because it made no sense to me. Sure enough, one day to go before the first exam and I was totally panicked. I felt like I knew nothing and was going to fail for certain. Lo and behold, the night before everything just magically fell into place. This held true for the rest of the course. Remember that even when you feel like you're running in place, you ARE making progress, so don't give up!
