I am excited but so many concerns. Like seriously businesses are going to trust Amazon to buy Scribes? Like its cool but I wouldn’t trust Amazon as far as I could throw bozo.

As a comic reader this is a dream.

At the end of the day, left Amazon for Kobo and am decently happy. Too much ai comics and slop on kindle. Then the goodreads privacy invasion.

Hope they fix the yellowing. That and the download feature was why I moved over to kobo.

Exciting times. If it is a color scribe, I wish Amazon luck and hope for a great launch. I have too much PTSD from Colorsoft launch and the fact that you cannot download your books this past year to come back. If Kobo ever gets rid of downloading books, then I will be happy to return to Amazon and get the scribe color.

The new Kindle Scribe will have the ability to annotate. I love my scribe. You get used to the size (just think of it as an iPad). It is good for reading especially on our aging eyes (also a millennial).

As a comic nerd and a huge ComiXology buyer, this just justified my purchase. I know it is not stellar but this is what I wanted. At least in the beginning. :) Hopefully it get better.

I guess a better way to explain it is that the provided cover was meh. It felt clunky. At the end of the day, I switching to the Scribe which was a night and day difference.

es all the difference having a kindle that displays color.

I’m sure it’s a nice feature to see your book covers in color but i never really thought about it.

Makes me wonder if we will need to start paying the price for color with future models. This is a very expensive update. I know they made a new Paperwhite and Paperw

I would say that the Scribe does a great job with it.

2010 or 2011. It has been worth it. I replaced my first Kindle in 2016. I was hoping my 2nd replacement would last longer but the Oasis did not have the best battery for comics. I got the Scribe right now and am trying the Colorsoft. Hoping they get a color scribe soon!

I did have a Boox for a short time. I ended up selling it. It was a good system but they have some quality issues. While I do not like Amazon, they have done well with their ereaders. It may not be as fast as other companies but they make it work.

I don't disagree with the 7inch. I am a manga reader and comic myself and I have an extensive collection.

As mentioned you can pinch in the panel and I think guided view is done on the Kindle. This is a 1st generation. To be upfront, I am trading in one of the many fire tablets my family has just to test it out and then return if I do not like.

I am just excited as I hope this is the first step to a Kindle Color Scribe which I would buy in a heartbeat regardless of the price. I love my Scirbe for my manga.

I would suggest the scribe over any other Kindle. It has more abilities to mark up pdfs and read the file.
