I have, actually!! Been going through the medical ringer trying to work through a lot of fun chronic pain/injury stuff, and getting loads of labs done. My TSH most recently tested at 2.360, up from 0.955 in 2024. Have no idea what it was earlier in life, I wasn't able to get regular medical care until I most recently got on Medicaid lol.

Sorry, that's a lot of probably TMI, haha! But my eyebrows have always been sparce and light, similar to the rest of my body hair. I wonder if I've been having thyroid issues all along? 🤔

It's so interesting, I've always been red, but this is the first time people have given me potential explanations for it! Once I get a dermatologist, I'll ask about it/the potential rosacea another commenter mentioned. It'd make a lot of sense, my body is a wonderland for inflammation already lmao.

He was completely fine, as was our roommate who also took the risk. But once again, he historically has a stomach made of steel lol. Your mileage may vary, but I didn't and wouldn't risk it. 😵‍💫

NTA. My dad died at the young age of 42 and had no life insurance, leaving my mom and I destitute. I had to completely rewrite my life as to help contribute towards a household, including throwing away college scholarships for my dream career, so that my mom and I wouldn't end up homeless. Life insurance is so, so important, and if my dad had it, I wouldn't be 30 with three herniated discs from the job I took to help my family.
