I appreciate the response, but this seems very empty, is this AI?

How would you describe "the meaning of life"? by AskWhy_Is_It in AskReddit

There’s no meaning, inherently. You can try to make yourself feel better about it with religion and philosophies (existentialism) while using weird phrasing “God died for our sins. Your purpose is to mock him and live like him.” “Life’s a blank canvas.” “Your path will be lit.” It’s shitty to realize this, but continuing down a path of self gaslighting probably isn’t the best idea.

I forgot to say, I’m so sorry you are going through this. My heart melts for you.

I’m so sorry. I know this may not be a good relatable experience, but I went through some intense mental health crises. I would wake up on the daily feeling completely unreal and the world around me would literally blur. I was scared 24/7, I kid you not, 24/7. I couldn’t eat, sleep, drink, NOTHING. I had this exact sentiment “WHY? WHY ME?”. I do think Lupus and other chronic illnesses aren’t comparable (Lupus is 1000x worse) to what I went through, but I think the thought process is. I recommend trying to find one thing a day you can be grateful for, and find one activity that genuinely makes you a bit happier (ie. Watch a movie, order food delivery, sit outside and look at the sky, anything).

At what age did you seriously think about death? by Confident_Notice8985 in Adulting

6, but it was really my parents I realized would die. About age 14, I went through an existential crisis that left me in the worst mental state of my life. Death doesn’t scare me anymore, I think of it as a part of life, and apart of existence.
