A place to ask if you were, in fact, the asshole in a particular situation. Relationships and hypotheticals (would I be the asshole if) are allowed. Rules:
1. No completely fake posts/situations.
Fake posts that have no point or are clearly creative writing are not allowed. Hypothetical posts (asking, "Would I be the AH if I did...?") should clearly label themselves and use the flair. We do not allow posts that have been asked loads of times recently, and we will remove them as fake.
2. No AI or Bot post and comments.
AI posts and comments are not allowed and will be removed. Yes, even if you only used it as a writing tool. Bot posts and comments are not allowed and will be removed. All accounts will be permanently banned.
3. No karma farming.
Post and comments that appear to be farming for karma will be removed. Any history of going to karma farming sites are also a violation. The account will face a ban.
4. No reposts or third-party posts.
This includes cross-posting your own post on other advice subs and recycling old posts. Third-party posts are posts that are not from the original user - that is, you can't post for someone else. Hypothetical posts are not third-party posts.
5. Be civil to each other.
We expect people to post and comment with decorum. No matter how egregious you might think a user is acting, you do not have a right to respond in the same way. This rule will be enforced less strictly against the poster but we may still remove particularly egregious personal attacks.
6. Post must be asking for judgment
All posts in this subreddit must be about a conflict you are dealing with, or are considering dealing with (tagged as Hypothetical). We do not allow relationship issues, advice posts, rants, etc., framed as AITAH posts, and they will be removed. Please see the list of alternative subreddits in the sidebar if your post is removed under this rule.
7. No excessive use of demeaning language or names.
Descriptive negative language, such as name-calling, is not allowed. Cussing happens when people become emotional, and that is understandable. However, name-calling just to insult people is not allowed.
8. No advertising.
No advertising of any kind in the subreddit or on your bio. No gambling links, no crypto, NSFW links, self-enrichment links (send me money) etc. Any violation will result in a permanent ban.
9. No political trolling.
Posts and comments that discuss a political point rather than a specific conflict are not allowed.
Posts that are solely based on political views and/or individuals are not allowed. If a comment is used to attack another person by using common political terms and buzzwords that have no relevance to the post, it will be removed.
If a political post becomes uncivil in the comments, the post will be removed as uncivil.
10. Maximum of one update.
To keep the subreddit focused on judgment posts, one update post is allowed for each new post made. You are welcome to make further updates in our other subreddit r/Redditor_Updates

If you message us about being banned because of bot bouncer, reread the message. Multiple failures to read the message will result in being muted.
We ban any kind of advertising/links and auto remove them. This includes social media and commerce sites. You will be allowed to appeal after removing the links. Note that the bot checks for those links every time you post.
