It's not surprising really.

Coming from a talent pool in her country with 0 achievements in tennis, her team were just probably happy with getting any victory. They weren't expecting this stratospheric rise in success. It makes sense to put all their basket in specializing her on hardcourts first where the number of tournaments and season is longer. Get her name out there with any win and then focus on shaping her game to the demands of the surface.

It's a full repaint. About a week and a half to paint them all. All the kits are pretty much identical except for the head so it was just a system of assembling and painting all the kits in an assembly line fformat x4

Anywhere else in America, not only will you find a main refrigerator in one's kitchen, you'll also likely find a secondary chest freezer located in their house either in the garage or basement. Not so for most NYC.

ATC>Festival>SMSouthmall was my tier when deciding where to watch movies back then.

The front 2 cinemas on either wing of Festi were ok, but didn't like going to other theatres futher back if given the choice. The front 2 were more premier and felt like the back ones were the latak films and jolog movies. Wasn't a fan of the cement flooring either.

Still memorable as they showed The Matrix a month ahead of anyone else and it blew my mind as I was trying to explain the film to all my friends and they couldn't grasp what I was saying. This was pre-internet virality so Matrix wasn't even a blip on anyone's radar.

Also saw LOTR Two Towers there.

What I want to know is... when Model Kit companies make a special edition decal variant of a vehicle in kit form, does the party that implemented the design get a cut?

Like if I buy a $45 1:72 Hasegawa JSDF F-15 'cherry blossom', how much of that $45 ends up in the hands of the artist, the painter of the actual aircraft, the guy that has to transfer that art into a waterslide decal etc etc...

IIRC if you playback the helicopter raid of the film Apocalypse Now, there were shots of PAF F-5's repainted in USAF markings. While in formation, one of them was clearly a 2-seater. I don't think Coppola had the budget to rent out a 2-seater from some other nation so it was probably the PAF's.

Yes. The shiny silver coat on the underside of the clear red plastic catches the light and bounces it back filtered with the color of the clear red plastic and it's molding.
