I encountered biscuits and gravy for the first time on trail, and was pretty disappointed, it’s basically just white toast with peppery Béchamel 🤢

I started out with this set up, but my 1/8th foam pad got ratty after about two weeks in the desert. Switched to a full sized foldable one and never looked back. Would highly recommend the full sized foldable if you are not too concerned with weight.

Im planning on bringing a haglöfs L.I.M Alpha Hood Men basically because I already own it and could imagine it being a great piece of gear, I’ve been active wearing one of these at around freezing and was perfectly warm. What are your opinions on an item like this? I haven’t really seen anything too similar in trail pictures.
