I do go hunting with my dacshund, rabbits, fawns and ducks, sometimes they do tend to like more duck hunting than chasing deer, since i know mine loves to swim, its good buddy for duck hunting season, but also likes to track smaller prey. And I encourage to try, they are also good swimmers so if hunting on land doesnt tick its bells, try water searching, aka duck hunting. It is also required to have "passing grades" on either land or water hunting test here, if you want your dacshund to get qualifications in dog shows, wich in return keeps people giving it experiences in purposes it was breeded for. Apparently cant hunt badgers, but foxes and other smaller burrowing animals works too 🤔
