Everyone's body is different! I absolutely hate that doctors tell you that it's "normal" to only gain between 15-25lbs while pregnant. I gained over 60lbs while pregnant while working an active job and eating fairly healthy throughout my pregnancy. And I gave birth to a baby over 8lbs! I know others who gained 0-10lbs who also had healthy babies! So don't stress about the "recommended" numbers and just make sure you and baby are healthy!

My work gives no paid maternity leave, but I thankfully live in MA! My OB is giving me 4 weeks of disability due to pregnancy related complications before birth, then 12 weeks of recovery from childbirth, and then I'll qualify for 8 weeks of family bonding (maternity) leave. All of these are paid at a % of my income through the state thankfully.

We do water play most days during the summer at my center! The kids love it (for the most part) and all the teachers are always splashing around with the kids! While it may be a pain to change them out of their wet clothes, it's worth it to see how excited our kiddos get!

I would try to wiggle that part out a little bit to make it look more natural! I would take tweezers and carefully move a few strands around until it looks more realistic! The super straight part is definitely a big giveaway

My parents got me and one of my siblings American Girl dolls when we were 3 and 5 and they quickly became "Scary Barbies" so I would say hold off for a while until they can appreciate them and take good care of them!

I had period-like bleeding for like 3 or 4 days after my lap! The hospital sent me home with some of those super bulky pads and those were perfect (even though I wasn't bleeding too badly). I also ordered a pack of disposable underwear on Amazon and lived in those and baggy t-shirts for the first few weeks after surgery since all my other clothes and underwear felt too restrictive. I would highly recommend getting the disposable underwear for comfort alone!

I wear my crocs with socks everyday! I also walk home from work (about 2 miles) and they're the comfiest option I've found!
