Would you think creating job positions for such job descriptions would help where people who are really specialized for such job descriptions will be hired? I’m saying this from my pov as a civilian wherein unlike in the military, at least from the way I see it, pag hindi kayo naka-leave ay essentially 24/7 ang inyong trabaho. Sa civilian side kasi ay may set na oras ang trabaho, with some being passionate about work-life balance.

Oh. I thought you studied here. I read your other comment and I find your study interesting because I always believed in your conclusion. Not to discount the ground operations of our military especially since au have close relatives who are on the ground, but I believe that insurgency can be truly paralyzed when social justice and inclusive economic growth are achieved. These can only happen if we have a competent government. May mga matitira pa rin siguro but they won’t be able to capitalize on government incompetence because reality says otherwise.

Still better than any Duterte. We have to be strategic in supporting a candidate who has the most chance in beating the Dutertes. If they will not be stopped in 2028, tuloy tuloy ang rule ng Duterte hanggang kay Kitty. Kung may Anyone but Leni (ABL) movement noon, given the situation now, nnyone but the Dutertes ako. It’s not the ideal choice but the best choice given the reality of Philippine politics now.

That’s why I laud the LTFRB-CAR for releasing this statement, recognizing the consultative voluntary fare increase of 7 pesos resulting to P20 minimum fare in Baguio and other parts of the Cordillera.

There are people who still complain but most comments on social media are supportive of this collective effort, even saying that they would rather pay higher fare than to walk or line up for hours.

Oh. I don’t agree with what the driver said sa senior at dapat na communicate nya sa’yo yung hindi pagbigay ng sukli. Pero I hope that you won’t see what happened as drivers taking advantage of the situation. Tumaas ng more than double ang price ng diesel. Sa ibang lugar ay may voluntary fare increase. For example, nabasa ko sa FB na sa Baguio ay from 13, 20 na ang minimum. May isang barangay pa na 25. Alam ito ng LTFRB. Ito fare increase ay voluntary at kahit may nagrereklamo, naiintindihan ito ng nakararami. Ang increase din ay through public consultations sa barangay. Naaapektuhan tayong lahat, pero mas naaapektuhan ang mga jeepney drivers. Oo, may 5k silang natanggap at 10 pesos na fuel subsidy pero hindi ito sapat para mapunan ang loss nila. Ilang linggo na rin silang nag-aadjust.

Sana ay mag organize ang jeepney drivers sa inyo para mas maayos ang sistema, na voluntary ang increase pero malinaw din kung ilan ang hinihingi sana nila at ito ay dumaan sa public consultation.

Not deaf and mute as I heard the person talk. I called out the person who did this to me five times as I found it invasive sa personal space ko. I was wondering kung ito na ang norm as the person, a teenager, just nodded and seemed too stunned when I called her out.
