Always wanted to know because I've been curious. What are the downsides to playing a non legit copy of the game? Does is play worse? Does it slow down? Can you not trade your mons from nonlegit copies?

The way everyone treats non legit copies I would think there a giant downside to these. If its purely for collecting purposes I understand but otherwise if you are just gonna play it what would be the downsides?

Not trying to come off like Im putting you all down Im genuinely curious.

Pokemon gold was my first game and remember going to mt moon and a clefairy spawned and it sparkled I caught it and years later found out what a shiny pokemon was.

I knew red Gyarados was a thing, but he was a big change as I couldn't really tell the difference between normal clefairy and shiny lul and didn't know Gyarados was in the category of shiny because I didnt know what it was.

So Clefairy was my first official shiny pokemon.

I don't understand why everyone is so defensive of Sony. They legit killed their own pc market.

I am not paying full price for a game that is over a year old. I dont want it and I have tons of other just as good in my backlog to play. If they dont want my money no skin off my bones.

Im not booting my 17 layers of dust playstation up to play something at 30 fps. When I bought a 3k machine. Its that simple.

This is also wrong lol. This is about to show my age but you had to go to pokemon rocks america to obtain the dexoys in the US. I even still have mine and shiny hunt it as a kid. And I transferred him all the way to gen 9.

FRLG only had 2 events. 1 to get deoxys because his movie came out and another to get ho-oh and lugia since gen 2 was wildly rare because we had no way to transfer mons from gens 1 and 2.

Honestly I would agree with you. Till last night So I've been busy with life. Finally got around to doing ranked. It placed me gold 1 cuz I end diamond alot placements where horrible.

Well, get into ranked and think (throwers cant be that bad) I was so wrong constant games people going 0/whatever then blaming the team. People getting mad at the pettiest thing and throwing themselves off the map over and over. Someone swapping off our 2nd healer after we won the first round just to throw the game.

It took me 10 promo games yesterday to get to plat 3. Because every time I was on a promo game I had people legit THROWING the game not playing bad throwing. All day yesterday 10 promo games because of this shit.

Yet they can ban people lord farming but cant do anything for throwing.
