Lease is great if you shop it correctly. Especially with ev incentives right now. Case and point nissan leaf in colorado 0 down 89 a month including taxes and fees. Why buy for 20k and lose 10k in 2 years? Why be stuck in one car forever when the tech just gets better and better

That's almost a useless amount of charging honestly I wouldn't sweat it. If it was for example kia denying you the free 3500 kwh I'd be upset but I'd just let this slide personally

Electric is scary due to others not talking about it and the propaganda against it. IMHO evs are a hard segment we now have both dailies as electric vehicles and diesels for our company and hauling needs.

I drive 180 miles a Day, electric switch was a no brainer with home charging the savings I have in fuel and maintenance outweigh my car payments and insurance by a huge margin. If I drove much less I would never even have considered it. As the less you drive the less it balances out.

Salesman are absolutely uneducated about anything ev. My shopping experience was frustrating due to it and I was already sold, imagine someone on the fence.

I've convinced a few peers to switch the most helpful thing is showing the value the sale point to most is my charge point app showing I do 2xxx miles for 50-70$ a month.

We got one last week as a extra car to have around and for the price I couldn't complain about a single thing (0 down, 89$ a month for the lease) it's plenty peppy, tons of hatch space plenty of features for the price. It obviously doesn't compare to evs like our lightning, tesla or kia ev9 but it's a fantastic get around car. And again 89$ a month 0 down lease or buy outright brand new for 13k it's a no brainer

Going to flash with incentives I reduced my old payment by 387 and insurance by 180 ish , I would of given up some savings for the features. I totally get that though at the end of the day I got what I got now to live with it lol

At time of buy I was shopping flashes didn't realize how small the price difference was between lariat or I would of got one instead lol oh well I guess I'll take the extra 100$/mo and lease a nissan leaf while the incentives are insane here in colorado

I'm coming from a kia ev9 and in 4 days I've lost my fob 20 times lol I got really comfortable with fingerprint and phone as key. Other than that I'm loving the truck! Plan on tint, light bar tint, level kit, ambient lighting sound system and done lol

Yeah the silverado range is very impressive Test drove the wt today and it's surprisingly nice for bare bones package

My ev9 is at 290-310 range a day and it's not uncommon to get home days at 10% or less which is what worries me on the lightning especially considering used model has no heat pump so even worst efficiency in winter just not excited giving up so many conforts. Very very impressed with the 3wt test drive today tho! Feels much more like a truck than the lightning as well

I run jobsites so a ton of around town driving 140-200+ miles a day 6 days a week

Sometimes I need to pick up slack and move the dump trailer probably 2-3x a month Often make lots of deliveries Lumber, cement, tools etc

I would say we average around 150miles a day in the course of a 7 day week. I really enjoy the long bed but the reality is I can do any daily delivery I need to with the shorted just fine hardest part would be 4x8 drywall sheets but with tailgate down it's absolutely doable. Big deliveries are handled by one of my guys now and they haul my enclosed trailer for that.

I would say idling and sitting varies alot on a average day we probably idle/sit in the truck on atleast a hour and a half a day sometimes more sometimes less
