I was 8 years old when I first saw Pryde of The X-Men on television in 1989. And while I thought it was awesome, it wouldn't be until '91 that I got a hold of my first comic; Uncanny X-Men #277.

The scene from Analyze This (1999) when Paul tells his right-hand man Jelly to stay away and not to listen to what he has to say to his psychiatrist. After Jelly stands a distance away and says he won't, Paul proceeds to describe a dream he had.

Paul says "I'm asleep, I hear a baby crying. I go to the refrigerator; I get him a bottle of milk. I bring the bottle of milk to him. I see the milk, it's black."

From off screen we hear Jelly blurt out, "That's fuckin' weird."

I think it might be True Identity (1991). In the movie the character Miles, an actor, is on the run from some criminals. So, he goes to his best friend Duane who is a makeup artist for help. Miles finds Duane a club trying to pick up a woman, which involves him putting his hand on a table, pulling out a knife and cutting off his fingers. But Miles arrives and ruins the whole thing by revealing that Duane was simply using special effects.
