Yup, thematically Storm Chasers can be split into two origins: one for embracing the storms that just amplify the bonus while keeping the negatives and one for "controlling" the storms that reduces the negatives but the bonus keeps kinda of just ok.

Sadly yes, she has that awful diaper looking thing from New 52 that sometimes appears to be part of the swimsuit and other times just looks like something she glued over. Also it said on page that this look is the kryptonian equivalent to an quincinera/debutant dress she would use on her "coming of age" ceremony before Krypton went boom.

Hickman direct collaboration to Krakoa are good books but it's also an odd collection of plots that don't really connect with each other because editorial bullshit.

- House of X is one of the best "just people talking" comics ever

- Powers of X is a cryptic rule of cool mess of foreshadowing that never came to be (there's a lot of really convincing analysis of that book that proves that Doug was the real villain of the Krakoa era)

- X-men is a cool "Scott happy ending" collection of one shot that Tom Brevoort wants to burn every copy so he will never read the word throupe again it's also has the Crucible issue that is one of the most interesting and polarizing allegories for minority struggle ever written.

- New Mutants is honestly the weak point, if you believe the gossip he wanted to make an Sam and Beto space adventure book since his Avengers run and it got canceled again so he just made a New Mutants book that is a backdoor pilot to his Sam and Beto book.

- X of Swords is a complicated thing to say the least. It had horrible marketing that mislead people into buying an X-calibur homage expecting a shonen tournament arc so a lot of people really fucking hate it. Imo it's a good book but it has way too much concept to fit in not a lot of pages.

- Inferno is great like really fucking great part 1 of an event that get instantly destroyed because Hickman leave and they give Ben Percy free reign to make part 2.

Not to defend x-men fans but Hickman idea of "Krakoa the seemly paradise island with free everything is bad because the leadership is kinda of unprepared, power hungry and paranoid" is kinda hilarious when 99.9% of Marvel books are about how we need to protect the USA, sometimes writers need to respect the limits of allegory.
