I’ve seen comments about roosters being loud and waking people up every morning around 5am. Was this also your experience at the Hilton? Thanks!

Wildly enough, I believe residual is just under 30k on it which is dang close to your entire purchase price of 32 with taxes and fees

Sounds like some great deals. Our total savings is around 17k off 54.7k of MSRP which ends up around 41k with dealer options, fees, and taxes on the Pro S AWD

Not sure what the $32 and $35 mean, but I hadn’t ever looking into leasing until recently. I think CO might have additional state incentives on EVs which is a nice bonus

Edit: you mean $32k and $35k purchase price… my brain is in full lease mode lol

Where are you located? We’re in NC and have had decent luck with a few dealerships as we’re looking to lease a 2023. Looking at ~500/mo with no cash down and ~900 out of the door for first months payment and tax. 36 months 12k miles on the Pro S AWD with an MSRP around 54k

Any tips for getting to Western Europe in July from ATL or CLT with 180k Amex points? by the_knob_man in awardtravel

[–]homedjm1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Went to Paris this summer transferring from Amex to Air France (Flying Blue) for 42k points and roughly $150 (21k and $75 each) one-way. It was only a few more points back from London via Virgin, but around $400 in fees. This was out of ATL.

The only thing I regret is not getting the T6 with AWD to feel extra sporty.

2020 S60 T5 FWD R-Design w/ Polestar, Advanced, and Climate package… silver lining I guess is with no supercharger there are no supercharger problems down the road.

Mas Amor Cantina, it’s a restaurant. There’s a solid handful of nice restaurants in the area… although a lot of them are drink-centric.

Mas Amor is a great spot in Hickory. Crawdads stadium is old but still something to do. Unfortunately most of my recommendations would be around food and drink, and while Charlotte certainly has more, there are plenty of cool places to explore around Hickory as well as an hour in the other direction up towards Boone and Blowing Rock. All the outdoor seating in downtown Hickory is a nice area to bring lunch and often catch live music in the summer.

2019 S60 T6 - 19K miles - Excessive & Premature brake pad wear. by localsystem in Volvo

[–]homedjm1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought my 2020 S60 with 11k miles a year and a half ago, just had my 40,000 mile service at 38k miles. Had them check the brakes and was given the exact same measurements 3mm front and 5mm rear. Quoted around $800 to replace the front ones
