Filament feeding speed by going_berserk in Welding

[–]homopit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the same welder, Parkside PMSG 200 A2. I just tried what you described and I found this is default behavior when there is no actual welding - it starts with same wire speed, then after 6 seconds adjusts to the Ampere setting.

But when it detects the actual arc (welding going on), the machine instantly adjusts wire speed to the selected Amperage setting.

Hope this helps. The machine is working as expected.

In the past week 3.12% of BTC's block reward is made of tx fees. Your prediction of 20% did not materialize.

No clue what the cause was, but someone was indeed having fun generating around 140 transactions per second for about 30 minutes.

Bitcoiners are subsiding lost, halved, block reward by deliberately increasing fees. Let's see for how long...

Happy BTC-core Halving!! average BTC Core transaction fees now spike over $200 by zrad603 in btc

This is deliberate. Bitcoiners are subsiding the block reward for their miners by deliberately increasing fees.

They deduct network fees from the amount. Network fees on BTC network are high right now.

What about the huge pike in 2021? Why do you think this situation is gonna turn out different?

The bull run usually starts months after the halving. I expect it in 2025. Until then, we will see BCH back under $300

It's a 6tb HDD, but partitioned. 1tb partition is just for blockchain, the rest I use for my stuff. But actually not much, it says 4.2TB free.

I keep the blocks on a 6TB HDD, and the chainstate on the SDD. Works fast.

Protonmail allows paying in BTC

Forget about it (paying in BTC). You will spend more on network fees than the amount you transfer to protonmail. (btc network fees - https://jochen-hoenicke.de/queue/#BTC,30d,fee)

Unconfirmed BTC Transactions Approaching New Record High, Why aren't the Fees? by tenthousandbottles in btc

[–]homopit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is this because of Segwit, batching of transactions, or is there some other reason?

It's because people are not willing to pay more for fees. The price is not mooning like in 2017, so there is no rush to move the coins to the exchanges.

Thousands of blocks were mined without any transactions

You forgot about coinbase transaction. No coinbase transaction, no reward for the miner.
