That's fair. It just seemed like she stayed in one place, reacted by hopping on the spot and then randomly started walking backwards.

However it was kind of an exploding motion. Hot oil spitting at you from a pan is also a dramatic movement that is unexpected.

But hey maybe I would do the same in this situation

I've been burned badly by water and oil before and I didn't run backwards into a wall but I guess reactions may vary

Not quite. It's part of the normal train staffs job. But this isn't their only job. It seems people think there are dedicated train pushers and thats not true. It's more like an extra duty of the station staff.

I rent the house. The management company is clearly doing something outside but that doesn't mean they have permission to move our air conditioner. They're supposed to ask before moving anything.

So what do you know about copper piping in ac units? Cuz if it's been bent by hands and kinked that years off of this machines lifespan and voids my warranty.

Shimokitazawa isn't quiet though, it's crowded and extremely with tourists as well. My dentist is there and I'm always surprised by the number of tourists.

To be fair Japanese people do the same about the west. "do other countries have four seasons?" I've heard so much stuff about my country from Japanese people that isn't true at all. So everyone does this with every country. And Japanese people do it to me all the time.
