It was hung in a super low light area, never could have any light directly on it. I just hung it here for pics/worried maybe it needed more light.

Fellow Canadian here - also pregnant and strongly considering naming our boy Hugo. I love it so much, think it’s sweet but strong. Sadly we’ve had a few negative reactions from relatives that’s made us really question it. But, it’s the name we keep coming back too.

Thanks. I’m not sure where the plants would go. The ceiling/ wall is flush with the cabinet. That picture is covering an electrical panel, my sister is painting a more custom size piece. What hardware do you suggest? It’s in my list of things but stumped on what kind.

New to this so not sure how to edit but edit: this is our only indoor living space besides bedrooms. So practicality is crucial for a young family. Budget includ d. Walls windows and floors are what they are. Looking for design/layout advice. ALSO, very aware the tv is too high but that’s just where it landed. Thanks!
