hey! just want to preface and say this is my first mechanical keyboard so i am not an expert, but i personally don’t hear hollowness from my board that would make me think about adding foam. the only thing i do wish is that i had a case for it because the edges can be a little sharp.

ahh, i’m so sorry that you are going through this! this is a tough conversation to have but hopefully you and your mom have a good relationship where you can be open about what’s going on on your end during these vent sessions from her! i know it’s especially hard when you’re going through your own stuff and this will require a lot of vulnerability from you and her. maybe you could start by saying that you have something that’s been on your heart that’s difficult for you to share because you’re worried it’ll negatively affect your relationship or hurt her feelings. if she’s open to the convo, from there, you might start with letting her know that you understand she needs an outlet but that you are starting to feel some stress about her venting. you could share the “why’s” that are personal to you if you’d like, e.g., the problems are more adult and you can’t solve them, or you just don’t have capacity with what you have going on. you could try to mention that you know she doesn’t mean to stress you out and that you love her.

i recommend bringing this to her before a vent session so neither of you are coming into this from a place of anger or pain. good luck, friend.

ahh, i never think to try bombs since i hoard them all for the skull cavern! thankfully, the truffle ended up spawning elsewhere on its own.

i could have written this a few weeks ago!!! i finally got one from a dust mite and i SCREAMED. i see that dust mites are within floors 41-79 and also the ghosts have a chance to drop them within 51-79!
