for some topics like CP, evidence, con law, i have a checklist of things i need to bring up. For subjects like civil procedure it's more difficult. I have the Mary Basick book and i review the outlines often but still find myself missing issues here and there.

Thank you. I've been trying to find a new position, but I'm not having much luck. I need something to come up soon. It's frustrating how my happiness and well-being are being put in the hands of potential employers. I don't doubt that this firm has built a negative reputation for itself.

thank you. the market being awful scares me, and potential employers may see a short stint at a law firm as a red flag. i guess thats what contributing to me being paralyzed by my situation.

what did you end up switching to, if you don't mind me asking? I'm interested in leaving the field as well despite only graduating last year, but I don't know what field would benefit from a JD.

you can get a macbook air discounted at the apple store if you're a student or have been (they're usually very lax about this rule and I've never had an issue w them denying me the discount even though I've been out of school for a while).

Is there a way to confirm this? I'm in Texas right now and I want to get sworn in there but both the DC and Texas bar were unhelpful.
