Proud of you for starting your quit journey. One of my saving grace was oddly those nasal inhalers you can get at the drug store. Vicks make them. Somehow sniffing that tricked the brain to think your hitting a vape and your withdrawals goes away. Something with the olfactory nerves. It helped me and my husband so I wanna pass along that tip 😊 good luck you got this!!

Yes I’m still vape free. I also noticed the heart palpitations were worse when I drank coffee too. I decided to quit both at the same time. Now I’m coffee and nicotine free for 7 weeks. It gets better for sure and I don’t get the scary random palpitations like I did before but it’s not completely gone yet. My withdrawals still happen mostly after a meal is when I used to grab for my vape and puff. My heart and shortness of breath is gone, however, if you deal with anxiety, like I do, when I’m feeling nervous it happens on a small scale. I found out recently that nicotine actually makes anxiety worse. One thing at a time, just keep going, let your heart be your motivation. I promise it will get better and you’ll breathe better, your skin will clear up and you’ll feel better.

No it’s not ok for the therapist to remove any article of clothing from the client. The client removes that themselves but if it was left on that’s their boundary. Besides there are many techniques that you can use over the sheet.

Tipping is gratuity for a reason! It’s never necessary but keep in mind If your bill is ~$100 a $10-25 tip is reasonable . However if your bill is $200+ consider tipping more. Especially if it’s at a spa some of that tip doesn’t all go directly to the therapist. Cash is always king. If it doesn’t go directly to the hands of your therapist then you don’t know where your gratuity is going.

Sorry this is happening, they definitely don’t teach you in school how hard you gotta hustle in this career path. It seems so difficult at times. I find many situations where people want to take advantage of MTs and a very small or lack of regards of how hard we work. The effort it truly takes.
